Purpose of the role –
This role will work collaboratively with your offshore Client Management & Execution (CME) partners and closely with wider Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) Client Coverage bankers, , Markets and Products teams, as well as Legal, Treasury, Credit Risk and operations, with the aim of driving business growth and efficiently delivering an excellent experience for customers.
The position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to develop their analytical skills, and to play a key role in driving superior client outcomes and delivering world class client relationships.
Key Accountabilities-
Continuously seek to optimise the return on capital deployed and resources invested by the business
Workflow management between CME, Credit and client support teams, including IB Services, to achieve a seamless client experience; and
Maintain an ongoing awareness of NAB’s credit policy, credit and market risk and internal risk appetite.
Required Experience-
10+ years of experience in corporate and institutional banking, with experience in the financial institutions sector (Banks and Sovereigns) as a requirement),
including hands-on exposure to credit analysis (PD and LGD) and credit writing.
Proficient in Excel with moderate to advanced Excel skills.
Strong team player with experience collaborating in dynamic environment across time zones.
Prior experience in credit writing, credit rating, with a solid understanding of portfolio management.
Essential capabilities
Strong research skills and be adept at proactively sourcing and analysing information on macro risks and the regulatory environment across multiple jurisdictions
Understanding of risk management.
