Position Overview
Publicis Media is seeking a Head of Paid Media to oversee and guide the direction of all paid media activities across our client portfolio. This senior role is responsible for defining strategic approaches, ensuring operational consistency, and maintaining strong performance standards across digital channels.
The Head of Paid Media will act as the primary authority for paid media planning and execution, providing leadership to internal teams and ensuring that all initiatives support broader business and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Establish a comprehensive paid media strategy that outlines channel roles, investment principles, and performance expectations.Lead the planning and oversight of paid search, paid social, programmatic, video, and emerging media platforms.Develop frameworks for optimisation, measurement, and continuous improvement across campaigns.Review performance outputs, identify improvement opportunities, and guide teams toward strategic adjustments.Ensure all paid media activities align with brand goals and integrate effectively with creative, analytics, and planning departments.Maintain high-quality communication with clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear rationale behind recommendations.Provide leadership, coaching, and support to paid media specialists and cross-functional teams.Required Experience & Skills
8+ years working in paid media management, digital advertising, or media leadership roles.Deep understanding of major platforms (Google, Meta, programmatic DSPs, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).Strong analytical capabilities, with proven experience interpreting performance data and shaping strategic decisions.Demonstrated success leading teams within agencies or large marketing organisations.Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with senior stakeholders.Ability to work independently within a remote structure and manage multiple priorities effectively.What This Role Offers
