Job Purpose :
The Financial Analyst & MIS Manager will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting support to ensure effective decision-making in an engineering and construction environment. This role involves managing financial data, preparing regular financial reports, and maintaining Management Information Systems (MIS) to track key performance metrics, budgeting, and forecasting for projects and overall company financial health.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights into cost control, profitability, and cash flow for construction projects.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct variance analysis, comparing actual financial performance to budgeted figures, and explain deviations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) to track financial performance across various departments and projects.
- Provide real-time data and reports to senior management, aiding in timely decision-making for financial planning and control.
- Ensure the MIS system integrates seamlessly with financial software and ERP systems.
- Support the budgeting process for individual construction projects and overall company operations.
- Provide regular updates and forecasts based on actual performance and changes in project scope or timelines.
- Monitor project budgets and financials, assisting project managers in managing costs, tracking expenditures, and ensuring profitability.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial and operational performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication :
Work closely with the finance, project management, and operations teams to collect relevant financial data and ensure accurate reporting.Provide financial insights to help optimize project execution and overall financial management.Compliance & Documentation :
Ensure financial data is accurate and compliant with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Support audits and regulatory filings by providing necessary reports and data.Key Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
CA is Minimum 10+ years of experience in financial analysis and MIS within the construction or engineering industrySkills
