About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and sharp Business Development & Sales Associate to join us as an early member of the sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone with limited experience but strong ambition to learn SaaS sales, lead generation, demos, and closing customers.
This is a high-impact role where you work directly with the founders and influence revenue, product, and process. If you are tired of being just another cog in a big sales machine and want to build the machine yourself, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
This is a high-ownership individual contributor role. You will wear two hats : Hunter and Closer.
- Lead Generation : Identify and research potential customers
- Pipeline Management : Maintain CRM. Track touch points, next steps, and follow-ups.
- Convert Inbound Trials : You will act as a consultant for users who sign up for our free trial. You'll diagnose their inventory headaches, demo the solution, and guide them through the buying decision.
- Build the Playbook : You aren't just executing; you are documenting. You will test email subject lines, refine the demo script, and help set up our CRM pipelines for future hires.
- Automation Champion : Identify opportunities to automate tasks related to sales, onboarding, and email communication to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Founding Team Responsibilities : Help evolve the sales script, demo flow, and qualification criteria. Provide structured feedback to product based on lead conversations
Qualifications
Proven experience : 0–2 years of experience in Business Development, Inside Sales, SDR / BDR, or similar rolesExcellent communication : Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts.You are great at selling : You have experience generating your own leads and closing them. You don't wait for marketing to fill your calendar.You have 'Founder Mentality' : You don't need a manager to tell you what to do every hour.
