Job Title : Senior Executive Purchase

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage the end-to-end procurement process with a focus on order tracking , supplier coordination , and material follow-up . The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Purchase Order Management :

Issue and manage POI (Purchase Order Indent) based on approved MR (Material Requisition)

Verify order details including pricing, quantity, and delivery timelines.

Obtain order confirmations from suppliers and ensure alignment with internal requirements.

Order Tracking :

Monitor and track all purchase orders through various stages (from placement to delivery).

Maintain a real-time tracking system for visibility of order status.

Proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.

Material Follow-Up

Communicate regularly with vendors to track material movement and expected delivery dates.

Coordinate with Technical Team for Material Inward.

Address and resolve delivery delays, shortages, or damages with vendors.

Documentation & System Updates

Maintain accurate procurement records including POs, delivery notes, invoices, and Material Inward records.

Update procurement systems / Portal with timely filling of Docket details, and Status on Open Purchase Order History.

Reporting :

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on order status and supplier performance.

Report critical issues or delays to the Purchase Manager for immediate resolution.

Internal Coordination

Work closely with the Technical, stores, and finance departments to align procurement activities with production schedules and payment processes.

Ensure timely Inward of Material and invoice processing for vendor payments.

Qualifications :

Master’s degree in business administration, or related field.

2–4 years of experience in procurement / purchasing, preferably in the Service / Manufacturing Industry.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Powerpoint, BI, ERP etc.

Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of procurement best practices.

Familiarity with Order execution.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
