Job Summary :

Fortive is seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow developer to help support its global ServiceNow environment as part of its developer team. This role offers candidates the opportunity to work across many ServiceNow modules such as ITSM ITOM CSM CMDB / CSDM SecOps HRSD Legal and internally developed custom applications. Candidates will be responsible for designing developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements and best practices.

Candidates will work closely with architects stakeholders and external partners to enhance workflows automate processes and ensure platform supportability performance and upgradability. They will be responsible for development documentation test plans and the transition of developed solutions to our ServiceNow Operations team for business-as-usual support.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is able to work independently within a technical team and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced organization.

Primary Responsibilities and Job Duties :

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications.
• Ensure compliance with ServiceNow development standards low-code / no-code configuration-not-customization and other best practices.
• Maintain a high standard of code quality by writing clean efficient and maintainable code optimizing for performance
• Ensure that our ServiceNow services are interoperable maintainable and scalable supporting seamless employee and customer experiences.
• Act as Tier 3 escalation point for the ServiceNow Operations team to assist with resolution of issues with ServiceNow applications or integrations.
• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and enhancements and recommend improvements.
• Communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in process design workshops and kaizen events.
• Other Duties as assigned or required.
• Occasional travel both nationally and internationally.

This position is based in the Fortive office in Bangalore with the option of remote work on 1 day per-week. Your primary colleagues will be based in India the USA and the UK with stakeholders distributed globally a flexible approach to your working day will be required.
