Head of Electrical and Instrumentation

Position : E& I Head- Mumbai Location

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage all E&I engineering and design activities.

Ensure designs comply with applicable codes (IEC, NEC, API, IEEE, etc.) and client

standards.

Review and approve E&I deliverables : single line diagrams, cable schedules, load lists,

instrument datasheets, loop diagrams, vendor documents etc.

Oversee electrical system design like power distribution, lighting etc and instrumentation

systems like DCS, PLC, SCADA etc.

Support procurement, FAT, installation, and commissioning activities.

Coordinate closely with process, mechanical, piping, project and procurement teams.

Should have knowledge of E&I systems, control systems, and hazardous area

classifications etc.

Should have participated in Hazop / SIL study.

Ensure quality, schedule, and man-hr adherence.

Develop team capabilities and mentor junior engineers and designers.

Requirements :

BE / ME Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.

15+ years of E& I experience in oil & gas EPC projects.

Proficiency in design tools like ETAP, SPI etc.

Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
