MEICON is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support planning, coordination, documentation, and communication activities for US-based major infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will assist project managers and engineering teams in ensuring smooth workflow, timely deliverables, and effective coordination across multiple stakeholders. Skills and Responsibilities :
- Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities across multiple infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
- Coordinate daily with engineering teams, project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication.
- Track project progress, monitor timelines, identify delays, and assist in preparing recovery actions.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation such as MOMs, submittals, RFI logs, transmittals, action trackers, and status reports.
- Monitor deliverables, ensure timely submissions, and follow up with internal teams.
- Assist in preparing project schedules, resource plans, and workflow charts using MS Excel, MS Project, Autocad, Microstation or other project management tools.
- Organize coordination meetings with US engineering teams;
document discussions and follow up on action items.
Support document control activities including revision management, file structuring, and maintaining project data repositories.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, civil, structural, design, BIM) for seamless information flow.Ensure compliance with client standards, delivery formats, and project execution guidelines.Assist the project manager in budget tracking, manpower planning, and weekly / monthly reporting.Conduct quality checks on documentation, reports, and submissions for accuracy and completeness.Identify risks or bottlenecks early and escalate issues to project leadership.Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and ensure proactive status updates.Requirements and Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.7–8 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in infrastructure, construction, engineering, projects.Experience working with U.S or international projects is highly preferred.Strong understanding of project lifecycles, workflows, and construction documentation.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Autocad, MS Project, Microstation and project tracking tools.Experience handling RFI logs, submittals, documentation workflows, and client communication.Excellent coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for interaction with global teams.High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and US-based stakeholders (virtually).Ability to follow processes, maintain documentation discipline, and drive timely deliverables.
