Responsibilities

The Senior Associate Accounts Payable will be responsible for managing day to day operations related to the company’s account payables process, as well as preparing ledger reconciliations and entries.

• Create purchase orders and new vendors for multiple agencies.
• Approve invoices by validating the details and ensure adherence to accounting policies.
• Train Marketing Team on purchase order creation.
• Assist with any AP related questions from internal and external teams.
• Assist team with month-end duties, including preparing journal entries related to Reclass, Accruals, Prepaid Amortization etc.
• Creation and Maintenance of Job codes and WBS (Work breakdown structure) in SAP.
• Prepare Blackline reconciliations and tasks as assigned.
• Check and assess all accounting records for accuracy.
• Assist with special projects and audits as needed.
• Maintain good rapport with staff, vendors, external auditors and regulators.
• Adhere to best practices, standards and procedures in all accounting functions and activities.
