About the Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our in-house development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic and responsive WordPress websites. You should have experience building custom themes and plugins, integrating third-party tools, and optimizing websites for performance and SEO.

Key Responsibilities

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client and internal requirements.

Convert PSD / Figma designs into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites.

Implement and customize third-party plugins such as WooCommerce, ACF, WPML , and membership tools.

Optimize websites for speed, scalability, Core Web Vitals, and overall SEO performance.

Create and manage custom post types (CPTs) , taxonomies, and shortcodes.

Ensure websites are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and aligned with web accessibility standards.

Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across different browsers and devices.

Collaborate with design, backend, and marketing teams for seamless project execution.

Handle database design, queries, and optimization in MySQL / MS SQL Server .

Deploy, manage, and maintain websites on LAMP / LEMP environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.

Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery .

Expertise in custom theme and plugin development .

Experience working with the WordPress REST API and custom post types.

Knowledge of WooCommerce, WPML, ACF , and membership plugins like Restrict Content Pro.

Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and query optimization.

Solid knowledge of SEO best practices, page speed optimization, and Core Web Vitals .

Familiarity with LAMP / LEMP server environments.

Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git .

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
