Role : SSIS_SSRS Developer

Location : Bangalore

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SSIS / SSRS Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and creating reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Years of experience needed

5+ years of experience in SSIS and SSRS development.

Technical Skills :

5+ years of experience working with SSIS and SSRS in a data integration or BI reporting role.

Proven experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and reporting using SQL Server technologies.

Experience with SQL Server Database (T-SQL), including complex SQL query writing and optimization.

Strong knowledge of SSIS for data integration, ETL pipeline creation, and data transformation.

Proficiency in SSRS for designing and deploying reports and dashboards.

Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling.

Experience with stored procedures, functions, and performance optimization in SQL Server.

SSIS Development and Maintenance :

Design, develop, and deploy robust ETL processes using SSIS to integrate data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data validation, transformation, and error handling.

Schedule and monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize ETL performance to improve efficiency.

SSRS Report Development :

Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards in SSRS based on business requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create customized reports that provide insights into key performance metrics.

Create interactive, parameterized reports that allow end-users to access meaningful data easily.

Database Management and Optimization :

Manage and optimize SQL Server databases to support reporting and ETL performance.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data processing and reporting needs.

Data Analysis and Validation :

Perform data profiling, analysis, and validation to ensure ETL processes are delivering accurate and meaningful data.

Work closely with data analysts to validate data consistency across different data sources.

Documentation and Best Practices :

Document ETL processes, data mappings, and report logic to ensure clarity and maintainability.

Implement and enforce best practices in ETL development, version control, and data security.
