Job Description
Job responsibility : -
- Collaboration with corporates, HR leaders, and industry partners to create placement and returnship opportunities
- Mapping the skills requirement specific to engineering job openings across the country
- Relationship management with beneficiaries of returning women engineers and scholarship students who are part of philanthropy initiatives of IEEE India Philanthropy
- Capacity building, Mentoring, Guidance and Handholding support to the returning women engineers and engineering students
- Overall coordination and project management of the WIE program
- Ensuring the completion of soft skill and technical training of the women engineers which makes them industry ready and promote easy placement
- Organize HR events, workshop, conclaves and conferences to promote the concept and vision Women In Engineering
- Career counseling and job readiness sessions for the WIE participants
- Represent IEEE India Philanthropy at conferences, corporate forums, and media platforms to build visibility.
- Continuously innovate and bring new ideas to strengthen employability of women in engineering
- Any other assigned job by IEEE India Philanthropy
Qualifications - External
Education background and Skills :
Graduate or Post graduation with 1-2 years of experience in HR placement and the knowledge on social issues is added advantageWilling to travel extensively within the project locationsWilling to work with a not-for-profit entity exclusively to promote technology for humanityGood written and communication skills in English and Hindi. Proficiency in any two local languages will be an advantage.Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in HR, corporate relations, talent acquisition, or workforce development.Proven track record of establishing and leveraging corporate connections for hiring, placements, or partnerships.Skills Required
