Job Description : Responsibilities :
Perform network administration functions, to include :
1. Manage a distributed network comprised of Cisco firewalls and routers comprised of 2130 ASAs, 1150 FPR, and IR 829s
- Manage Juniper enterprise switches and other vendor switches
- Implement access controls, firewall rules, and VLANS for networks
- Set up and manage VPNs across Cisco devices
- Administer and maintain Windows domain environments, to include :
1. Managing an Active Directory forest
2. Setting up and managing Group Policies managing DNS
3. Setting up and managing a root CA in a closed network
Manage and maintain virtual environments using VMwareExperience with vSphere and vCenter desiredProvide support and troubleshooting for network and system issuesCollaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of systems and servicesMonitor network performance and security, implementing necessary updates and patchesDocument network configurations, procedures, and policiesProvide training and support to end-users as neededQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fieldExpertise in Cisco networking, including configuration and troubleshootingExperience with Windows domain administrationDesired experience with VMwareRelevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, VCP, or equivalentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamref : hirist.tech)
