Investment Analyst

About the role :

This exciting role in Acuity Knowledge Partner, India Office has been created to grow our investment support work across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the USA.

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join the investment analytics team at Acuity Knowledge Partners. The role involves collaborating with big corporates, investment houses, CVCs, financial advisors etc. to support their investment decisions through financial modeling, investment research, and portfolio analysis. This role involves evaluating investment opportunities, monitoring financial performance, and providing recommendations to optimize returns.

The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to senior management and stakeholders.

What are we looking for :

2-5 years of experience in investment analysis, wealth management, or portfolio management

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of investment products, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.

Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of companies, industries, portfolio and markets.

Evaluate financial statements, earnings reports, and economic data. Monitor global market trends, risks, and investment opportunities.

Build and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities. Perform valuations using DCF, comparable, precedent transactions, and other methods.

Assist in monitoring and managing investment portfolios. Track performance against benchmarks and prepare portfolio review reports.

Prepare investment memos, presentations, and research reports for senior management and clients. Present findings and recommendations in clear, concise formats.

Collaborate with fund managers, traders, and other financial professionals. Ensure investment decisions adhere to internal policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What can you expect :

Build customized investment proposals tailored to clients’ financial goals, including recommendations for equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and more.

Prepare comprehensive portfolio reviews for large clients and family offices, including customized reports and pitch presentations.

Collaborate with advisor teams to address client queries related to internal model frameworks, asset allocation, and portfolio actions

Analyze product performance, capture user feedback to improve user journeys

Be a part of planning, launching and tracking investment strategies
