Techstar Software - Python Automation Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Python Automation Engineer with expertise in test automation and Python-based automated test development. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in QA or test automation, proficiency in Python programming, and experience with industry-standard automation frameworks. A solid understanding of Layer 2 / Layer 3 protocols and Linux environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automated test scripts.
• Implement test automation solutions using frameworks such as Pytest, Robot, or Behave.
• Conduct Layer 2 / Layer 3 protocol testing to ensure robust and reliable performance.
• Work with traffic generators like Ixia or Spirent for simulation and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance.
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and provide detailed reports.
• Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks.
