Data Engineer

About Position :

We are seeking a Data Clean Room Engineer (Snowflake) to design, implement, and scale secure data clean rooms, enabling privacy-preserving collaboration and analytics. You will work across Snowflake, AWS, and Azure ecosystems to build compliant, high-performance solutions, partnering closely with data science, product, and security teams.

What You'll Do :

Design and deliver secure, compliant Snowflake Data Clean Rooms with robust integrations, governance, and automation.

Configure and implement Snowflake Clean Rooms (provider / consumer roles, clean room UI), access controls, and data collaboration policies.

Build and maintain ETL / ELT data pipelines to ingest data from diverse sources (e.g., AWS S3) into Clean Rooms.

Write advanced SQL and develop performant data models (star / snowflake, semantic layers) tailored for clean room analytics and privacy constraints.

Define and enforce privacy, security, and governance controls—row / column-level security, masking, encryption, anonymization / pseudonymization.

Integrate AWS services (e.g., S3, IAM; optionally CloudFormation / Terraform) and Azure services as needed for deployment and access management.

Partner with data scientists, product managers, security, and legal / compliance to translate requirements into scalable clean room designs.

Implement monitoring, auditing, lineage, and cost optimization for clean room workloads.

Drive automation, CI / CD, and documentation for repeatable, compliant environments.

Expertise You'll Bring :

You combine deep Snowflake and cloud expertise with strong data engineering, security, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Snowflake Clean Rooms : Hands-on experience with clean room provisioning, provider / consumer roles, policies, tokenization / masking, governance features, and the clean room UI.

SQL & Data Modeling : Strong SQL (optimization, window functions, CTEs) and modeling skills for analytics within privacy-preserving environments.

Data Integration & ETL / ELT : Building pipelines to ingest / transform data into clean rooms; familiarity with batch / streaming and orchestration (e.g., Airflow / Databricks workflows).

Cloud Infrastructure :

AWS : S3, IAM (roles / policies), networking basics; bonus—CloudFormation / Terraform for automation.

Azure : Experience deploying and managing Snowflake and integrations within Azure.

Databricks Ecosystem : Experience integrating Databricks with Snowflake, using notebooks / workflows for transformations, and optimizing jobs.

Security & Privacy : Implementing encryption, access controls (RBAC / ABAC), data masking, anonymization / pseudonymization, and auditing; awareness of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR / CCPA) as relevant.

Collaboration & Communication : Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders (data science, product, security, compliance) and translate business needs into technical designs.

Problem-Solving : Strong analytical mindset with a track record of diagnosing performance, data quality, and security issues in complex data environments.
