We are looking for an Experienced Transition Manager for our India Business.
Purpose of the Job Role
The Transition Manager Food Operations is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of transitioning & deployment of Elior Indias food service propositions in new or existing sites.
This includes planning, coordinating, and executing all activities required to ensure seamless handovers and operational continuity.
The role demands strong leadership, project management skills, and deep knowledge of food service operations.
Roles and Planning & Execution :
- Develop and implement detailed transition plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Act as single point of contact for Client and internal operational leaders.
- Ensure the transition follows in accordance with the operational and financial objectives of the bid.
- Coordinate pre-opening / pre-transition activities including staffing, training, procurement, and logistics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all operational standards are met.
Operational Oversight :
Oversee food service operations during the transition period to ensure high-quality service delivery.Identify and mitigate operational risks and issues during transitions.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards in collaboration with QHSE Lead.Stakeholder Coordination :
Liaise with clients, vendors, facility teams, and regulatory bodies.Act as the single point of contact for all matters related to transition activities.Team Management & Training :
Expectation setting for operational staff to ensure readiness for post-transition operations.Deployment of all operational SOPs, training support of F&B team, till Go Live.Provide leadership and mentorship to ensure team alignment with brand and service standards.Reporting & Documentation :
Quality reporting of mobilization progress with respective stake holders.Document best practices and lessons learned for future transitions.Qualifications and Experience
MBA or Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.8+ years of experience in food service operations, with at least 2 years in a transition / project management role.Expertise in Data Analysis, MIS / Reporting / Presentation, Co-ordination.Proven ability to manage complex, multi-site transitions.Strong understanding of food safety regulations and compliance.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop effective Competitive Salary.Professional development opportunities.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Join a vibrant team where your skills matter and take the leap towards success.
