We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer ((Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices) within our AppScan Product team. We are looking for candidates with 8+ years of experience who possess the following skills :

We are looking for a seasoned and technically adept Senior Java Developer to lead the design and develop complex integrations between AppScan and various third-party tools. This role demands not only strong Java expertise but also a passion for exploring new technologies , problem-solving through R&D , and the ability to translate customer needs into scalable, high-quality integration solutions. As part of a global, Agile team, you’ll be expected to work independently while collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive solutions to technical clarity and successful closure .

Required Skills :

8-12 years of strong, hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices).

Good understanding of integration ecosystems, API standards (OAuth, REST, Webhooks, etc.).

Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity.

Excellent remote collaboration skills and experience working in Agile teams.

Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and ability to work independently.

Work Mode : Bangalore / Remote.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain integrations between AppScan and third-party tools (e.g., CI / CD platforms, DevSecOps tools, reporting systems).

Research new third-party products, APIs, and protocols, and rapidly prototype integration approaches.

Understand integration patterns and ecosystems to recommend optimal solutions.

Deliver integration solutions with a fast turnaround time while maintaining code quality and security standards.

Collaborate closely with product management, security specialists, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless interoperability.

Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development.

Follow Agile practices and actively contribute to team ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with DevSecOps tools, CI / CD systems (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Experience in building integrations with external systems / tools / APIs.

Knowledge of security standards and protocols relevant to application security testing and integrations.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
