Key Responsibilities
Internet Connectivity Management
Maintain and troubleshoot internet connectivity, including broadband, leased lines, and other types of WAN / LAN connections.
Ensure high availability and minimal downtime of internet and network services.
Collaborate with service providers to ensure seamless service and resolve any connectivity issues.
Lease Connection Management
Oversee the provisioning, monitoring, and management of leased line connections and other dedicated services.
Ensure proper configuration of leased connections to meet business requirements.
Work closely with vendors to manage contracts, SLAs, and escalations related to leased connections.
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Implement and maintain IAM systems, ensuring secure authentication and authorization across systems and applications.
Manage user identity lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access controls.
Monitor and report on IAM systems to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
Network and Security Troubleshooting
Investigate and resolve network and security-related issues promptly.
Provide escalation support for internet connectivity and identity management incidents.
Collaboration & Documentation
Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement network and identity management policies.
Create and maintain documentation related to connectivity infrastructure, lease agreements, and IAM configurations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in managing internet connectivity, including WAN, LAN, and leased connections.
Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management systems (e.g., JumpCloud, Google Identity Management, Active Directory, Okta, Azure AD).
Experience with network troubleshooting, VPNs, firewalls, and routers.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and internet performance optimization techniques.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions.
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CISSP, or equivalent.
Familiarity with network automation tools and scripts.
