Job Summary

The Senior AutoCAD Engineer is responsible for creating, developing, and reviewing detailed

technical drawings and models for complex, large-scale engineering projects. This role requires

mastery of AutoCAD and related design tools, close collaboration with multidisciplinary

engineering teams, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards. You will support project

execution by producing accurate drafts, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring full

compliance with design specifications. You will also provide guidance to junior drafters and act

as a key technical reference for CAD-related processes.

Note : This position requried international travel to Portugal .

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Drafting & Design : Produce and review detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD
• drawings including layouts, sections, schematics, and construction details.
• Project Documentation : Prepare and maintain precise and well-organized design
• documentation throughout all project stages.
• Model Coordination : Collaborate with engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, civil,
• architectural) to integrate drawings into multidisciplinary models.
• BIM & Preferred Tools : Utilize Revit, Navisworks, or other BIM tools when required;
• provide support for design coordination.
• Quality Verification : Ensure all drawings meet project requirements, industry standards,
• and internal quality procedures.
• Design Updates : Incorporate mark-ups, feedback, and design changes efficiently,
• ensuring updated documentation is issued on time.
• Technical Support & Mentorship : Assist junior AutoCAD engineers and drafters by
• providing training on software tools, drafting standards, and internal workflows.
• Client Interaction : Support discussions with clients and consultants to clarify design
• details and ensure alignment with expectations.

Compliance : Adhere to international and local drafting standards, safety codes, and

project-specific design guidelines.
