Motion Graphic Designer

Job Overview : We are looking for a highly creative and versatile Graphic Designer to join our team in the retail sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design portfolio and expertise in video editing, with the ability to produce visually engaging content for both digital and print media. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to design graphics, create videos, and support various campaigns aimed at driving brand engagement and sales.Key Responsibilities : Graphic Design : Develop creative visual assets such as banners, flyers, posters, packaging, and in-store displays that align with the brand’s identity.Create engaging designs for digital platforms, including website graphics, social media posts, and email marketing campaigns.Ensure all designs meet the company's standards and are delivered within set deadlines.Video Production : Conceptualize, edit, and produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and internal communications.Create promotional videos, product demos, tutorials, and video ads that resonate with the target audience.Collaborate with the marketing team to create video content for campaigns and seasonal promotions.Enhance videos with motion graphics, animations, and sound effects.Brand Consistency : Maintain a consistent look and feel across all media types—whether it’s graphic design or video content—by adhering to the company’s branding guidelines.Creative Brainstorming : Participate in brainstorming sessions with marketing and product teams to develop new and innovative ideas for creative campaigns.Support the conceptualization and execution of marketing strategies using a combination of graphics and video content.Digital & Print : Design for both digital and print mediums, ensuring high-quality visuals for social media, websites, packaging, and promotional materials.Prepare final artwork for production and communicate with printers or vendors when necessary.Storyboarding : Create storyboards for video projects to clearly communicate video ideas to stakeholders before production begins.Trend Monitoring : Stay updated with design and video editing trends, tools, and techniques, particularly as they apply to the retail and e-commerce sectors.Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or a related field.Experience : 5-8 years of experience in graphic design and video editing, ideally in a retail or e-commerce setting.Strong portfolio showcasing a mix of graphic design and video editing work.Software Skills : Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).Familiarity with video editing tools like Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.Design & Video Skills : Expertise in typography, color theory, layout design, and video storytelling.Strong understanding of both digital and print design requirements.Creative Skills : Ability to conceptualize and execute creative ideas for both graphics and video.Strong eye for detail, especially when it comes to aligning visuals with brand standards.Communication : Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams.Preferred Skills : Motion graphics experience.Knowledge of 3D design or animation.Experience in sound design and audio mixing.Basic knowledge of web design (HTML / CSS) is a plus.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) : On-time delivery of design and video projects.Quality and creativity of graphics and videos produced.Engagement metrics (likes, shares, views) for video content on social media and digital platforms.Alignment with brand guidelines and marketing goals.Feedback from internal stakeholders and external clients.
