Exide is also deeply invested in further developing li-ion technology with significant R&D investments including setup of in-house team as well as necessary lab infrastructure to support development activities. As a Section Head of Program Management in the Li-Ion Battery Pack Business, he will lead a dynamic team responsible for coordinating and managing end-to-end programs related to the development and delivery of Li-Ion battery packs. His role will involve strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the successful execution of programs from initiation to completion. Experience-12+Yrs in Programme Management and complete Product Lifecycles (Tier 1 OEM or Supplier)Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Li-Ion Battery Pack Program Management team. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of programs within defined timelines and budgets. Foster effective communication and collaboration among different departments, including Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Operations, to ensure program success. Act as a liaison between various teams to streamline workflows and achieve program objectives. Strategic Planning : Contribute to the formulation and execution of the overall business strategy for the Li-Ion battery pack business. Risk Management : Identify potential risks associated with program delivery and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Monitor and assess risks throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with the Sales team to align customer expectations with program deliverables. Lead and mentor a high-performing Program Management team, providing guidance and support. Quality Assurance : Reinforce PDP process & ensure that program deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Budget Management : Oversee program budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial plans. Provide regular updates to executive leadership on program status, challenges, and successes. Proven experience in program management, preferably in the Li-Ion battery pack or related industry. Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of successful program deliveries. Strategic thinking with the ability to align program objectives with overall business strategy. Knowledge of battery pack development processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. PMP or Equivalent Certificate
