We work with schools, corporates, cafés, global clients (Dubai, Mauritius, USA, Saudi Arabia), and premium homes.
We are a young, women-led, fast-growing brand , scaling from a café redesign spark to a ₹1.2 Cr+ design execution company—built on quality, speed, emotions, and systems.
Role Summary
The Director of Operations is the backbone of MIT’s delivery engine.
You will oversee end-to-end execution :
- Lead the Operations, Logistics, Measurement, Production, Vendor, Installation & QC teams
- Build systems, SOPs, timelines, and cross-department coordination
- Ensure MIT’s signature speed + quality + experience in every project
- Optimize workflows, reduce errors, and scale capacity
This role requires high ownership , decision-making, leadership, empathy, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects across India and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Leadership
Oversee daily operations across Measurement, Design, Production, Quality Check, Dispatch, Installation, Rectification, and Client Handover .Build and enforce SOPs for all departments – Sales, Design, Logistics, Production, Installation.Ensure correct tagging and client status updates across DoubleTick / ERP.Maintain cross-department alignment and daily check-ins.2. End-to-End Project ManagementOwn project lifecycle from measurement to installation.Create and manage timelines, dependencies, vendor planning , and installation calendars.Approve measurement notes, site readiness, and post-measurement videos as mandatory.Ensure 100% documentation : notes, next steps, dates, photos & videos.3. Vendor & Installer ManagementBuild and manage vendor / installer network (wallpaper, panels, blind, vertical garden).Negotiate and maintain quality standards, timelines, and payment terms.Solve escalations : delays, damages, travel allocation, reinstallation.Track vendor performance and reliability metrics.4. Quality Control & Issue ResolutionEnsure delivery meets MIT’s quality benchmarks : print quality, colors, measurements, installation finish.Follow MIT’s 24–48 hour rectification policy .Conduct root-cause analysis for issues (measurement, vendor error, client error) and maintain reports.5. Client ExperienceEnsure smooth communication with clients during operations phase.Handle escalations professionally with empathy + solution-first mindset.Ensure frequent updates via WhatsApp and email during the project cycle.Conduct final quality checks before handover.6. Team Management & CultureLead Operations Executives, Logistics, Field Experts & Installers.Conduct weekly performance reviews, training, and upskilling.Build a strong, emotionally intelligent, supportive team culture.Improve team productivity, reduce errors, and create ownership-driven work.7.
