Job Description – Mechanical Design Engineer

Location : Coimbatore

Experience : 6+ Years of Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and create innovative mechanical concepts and designs based on client requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards.
• Lead the concept design phase and convert ideas or rough sketches into detailed 3D models using CAD tools such as Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or AutoCAD.
• Conduct feasibility studies including stress analysis, material selection, tolerance stack-ups, and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—manufacturing, production, and quality—to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
• Generate detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation required for manufacturing and assembly.
• Perform design reviews, identify potential risks, and implement corrective improvements.
• Stay updated on emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure designs remain competitive.
• Provide engineering support during prototype development, testing, and validation stages.
• Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and technical documentation to clients and internal stakeholders.
