We are expanding rapidly and are looking for high-calibre Cybersecurity Presales Engineers who can partner with our sales team to win high-impact enterprise deals.
The Role Overview
The Cybersecurity Presales Engineer will be the technical backbone of the sales cycle—responsible for understanding customer challenges, designing tailored cyber solutions, building compelling technical narratives, and ensuring smooth handover to delivery teams.
This role demands deep cybersecurity knowledge, strong customer engagement capabilities, and experience aligning security solutions to business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Consulting & Solutioning
Work closely with sales to understand client requirements, environments, and challenges.Own the technical solution—architecture, sizing, integrations, and delivery feasibility.Map 63SATS offerings (MSSP, SOC, Red Teaming, VAPT, managed detection, compliance, etc.) to customer needs.Conduct technical workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement-gathering meetings.2. Demos & Presentations
Deliver compelling product demos, PoCs, solution walkthroughs, and technical presentations.Convey complex cybersecurity concepts in simple, business-friendly language.3. Proposal Creation
Draft solution documents, technical proposals, SOWs, and RFP / RFI responses.Collaborate with sales, delivery, and product teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.4. PoC Management
Design and execute proof-of-concepts and pilot deployments.Track success metrics, resolve technical gaps, and ensure PoC conversion.5. Cross-Functional Engagement
Collaborate with SOC, Security Engineering, Red Team, and Product teams for solution refinement.Provide feedback to product / engineering teams based on customer interactions.6. Domain Expertise
Candidates must have strong hands-on understanding of :
SOC Operations, SIEM, SOAREDR / XDR, NDRCloud Security (AWS / Azure / GCP)VAPT, Red Team methodologiesZero Trust frameworksNetwork security (FW, IPS, WAF, DDoS, SASE)IAM, PAMCyber governance, risk, and compliance (ISO, PCI-DSS, GDPR, DPDP)Key Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have :
4–10 years of proven presales / technical consulting experience in cybersecurity.Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.Ability to run technical workshops and create solution architectures.Hands-on experience with security tools and enterprise security architecture.Experience responding to RFPs / RFIs and creating detailed proposals.Preferred :
Certifications : CEH, OSCP, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, Azure / AWS Security.Experience working with MSSPs or cybersecurity product companies.Understanding of large enterprise and BFSI security environments.Why Join 63SATS
