Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lecturer in Food Production and Bakery, based in Mysore. The lecturer will be responsible for conducting classes, preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures and demonstrations in food production and bakery, and assessing student progress. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development, providing practical training, guiding students in projects, and ensuring adherence to professional standards in culinary and bakery practices.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in food production processes, bakery techniques, and culinary arts
- Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and delivering lectures
- Practical expertise in hands-on training and guiding students in real-world scenarios
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire students
- Certifications or professional qualifications in food production, bakery, or culinary arts are advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards and industry regulations
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
- Previous teaching experience in educational institutions or training centers is preferred
