Job Title : Kidney Transplant Coordinator

Role Overview

The Kidney Transplant Coordinator will serve as a central point of liaison between patients, medical teams, and

administrative staff throughout the transplant process. The role involves managing clinical coordination,

ensuring compliance with protocols, delivering patient counselling, and upholding service standards within the

transplant program.

Qualifications & Experience :

Education : Graduation with a Certification Course in Transplant Coordination

Experience : Minimum 2 years of professional experience, with coordination exposure to at least 50 transplant cases

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Execute all tasks assigned by the Medical Administrator / COO

Draft letters, reports, and documentation as required

Process donor and recipient approvals in compliance with regulations

Coordinate patient assessments, investigations, and transplant-related logistics

Ensure all medical, legal, and procedural requirements for transplant are fulfilled

Explain transplant risks, benefits, and treatment plans to patients and families

Communicate package details (including inclusions / exclusions) to patients

Monitor and ensure timely payment collection

Record and address patient feedback on services provided

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

Prepare PowerPoint presentations and reports for meetings or reviews

Assist in conducting audits under supervision

Identify and resolve operational issues within the department

Report escalations and implement corrective actions as guided by the Medical Administrator / COO

Conduct training sessions for departmental staff

Coordinate and communicate patient-related concerns and service feedback

Uphold high standards of patient care, ethics, and professionalism

Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management

Skills & Competencies (Recommended)

Strong communication and counselling skills

Knowledge of transplant regulations and documentation protocols

Excellent organizational and coordination abilities

Empathy, confidentiality, and patient-centric approach
