"We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer / Test Manager supporting the further development of our leading-edge Trading System T7 offering order and quote management, on- and off-book trading services in simple and complex instruments.

You will shape and lead a motivated team, working in an international environment, driven to keep up the highest levels of service quality while constantly allowing for integration of functional and technical improvements in a fast-changing domain. Your effective collaboration with the business, operations, specification, build and system test teams working in our distributed environment is crucial and relies on clear communication, trust, and usage of digital tools.

Quality Assurance serves as a final quality gateway for the Trading System T7 before customers get access to fixes, enhancements, changes, or new releases in Member Simulation and Production. Quality Assurance is responsible for the appropriate measures to achieve the high quality of the software from a functional, technical and performance perspective.

Tasks / Responsibilities :

Manage, develop and strengthen the Quality Assurance team[ER1] [ER2]

Manage the functional testing activities of the Deutsche Börse Group Trading System T7 and of the trading regulatory reports, with timely and high impact feedback

Closely align with the business, operations, functional, build and system test teams for a streamlined efficient delivery process

Create and update test models and scripts for test automation

Constantly enhance (automated) smoke test and regression test portfolios to ensure high functional coverage

Ensure that the software deliveries fulfil the defined quality requirements for the installation in Simulation and Production

Support ad hoc inquiries from Simulation and Production

Drive the continuous improvement of software testing activities / processes and test reporting

Qualifications / Required Skills :

University degree in business studies or in engineering or comparable qualification

Strong expertise in functionality of cash and derivatives trading systems is essential

Ready to take responsibility for a team and continuously develop it, with a target oriented, can-do and problem-solving attitude

Deep knowledge of test methodology, management, planning and execution. A professional tester certification, e.g., ISTQB is a benefit

Deep experience in iterative and agile development methods with dedicated expertise for testing of software from a functional perspective

Deep experience with creating, executing and analysing automated functional tests

Solid user experience in Linux operating system, GitHub, Jira and continuous integration

Expertise in scripting for test and test automation; scripting in python preferred
