Job descriptionBuild & Identify new category opportunities by developing a roadmap to expand the business. Own the brand narrative and ensure consistent communication across all consumer touchpoints. Collaborate with creative, digital, and performance marketing teams to drive awareness and consideration. Partner with product and R&D teams to create differentiated offerings aligned with brand promise. Drive sales planning, forecasting, and inventory management to achieve business goals. Leverage data and insights to make informed decisions on category health, customer behavior, and market trends. Work cross-functionally with eCommerce, retail, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution. 7 to 9 years of experience in brand management within D2C, FMCG, or consumer product companies Should have been a people manager It would be great if you would have worked on a brand or category from scratch — ideally in a startup or high-growth environment. Deep understanding of consumer behavior , brand positioning , and go-to-market strategy . Strong business acumen with a data-driven and entrepreneurial mindset . Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Category Head - New Business to take complete ownership of a new business and drive its growth from zero to one . The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of brand-building expertise, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making to scale the category into a high-impact business vertical.
This is a P&L-owning role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced D2C environment and loves building from scratch.

- Define and execute the end-to-end category strategy — product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
- Lead P&L for the category;
