We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Sales Manager to focus specifically on the Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) and Government accounts in India.

Position Details :

Job Title : IT Sales Manager (PSU & Govt. Sector)

Company : CCS Computers Pvt. Ltd. (ISO & CMMI Level 5 Certified)

Location : New Delhi

Domain Focus : IT Infrastructure & Solutions

Key Responsibilities :

The IT Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within the challenging yet rewarding PSU and Government vertical.

Business Development & Sales :

  • Achieve aggressive sales targets and revenue goals within the assigned territory and sector (PSU & Govt.
  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities and accounts within Central and State Government departments and Public Sector Undertakings.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize sales potential and market penetration.

Client Relationship Management :

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officers, and technical personnel in PSU and Government organizations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all sales-related activities and customer satisfaction.
  • Bidding & Tendering :

  • Lead the entire bid management process, including responding to RFPs, RFQs, and Tenders issued by Government and PSU entities.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to prepare compelling, compliant, and technically sound proposals.
  • Ensure all sales activities and documentation strictly adhere to government procurement norms (e.g., GeM portal procedures).
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy :

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, policies, and procurement cycles within the PSU and Government IT landscape.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market feedback to the senior management team.
  • Solution Selling :

  • Understand and effectively articulate CCS's portfolio of IT Infrastructure and Solutions (e.g., servers, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, managed services) tailored to meet the specific compliance and operational needs of the Public Sector.
  • Qualifications & 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in IT Sales.

    Mandatory Requirement : Proven, successful sales experience specifically targeting and managing PSU & Government sector accounts in India.

    Education : A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is In-depth knowledge of Government procurement processes, tendering procedures, and GeM portal operations.

  • Strong understanding of the IT Infrastructure and Solutions domain.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • A high degree of integrity and professional ethics required for working with the Public Sector
