- Delivery of systems engineering services across the spectrum including architectures, requirements, interfaces, configuration, risk, integration and assurance.
- Preparation of Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance management plans for delivery of system integrated with project management plans
- Requirements engineering including development and elicitation of requirements and management of requirements including traceability and change with competency in relevant tools (DOORS, DOORS NG, ComplyPro, Polarian).
- Preparation and implementation of Verification and Validation plans to demonstrate satisfaction of requirements and support system / safety assurance case
- Identification, definition and management of interfaces including consultation with stakeholders and integration of sub-systems to deliver systems outcomes and objectives
- Management of Safety Assurance outcomes including Hazard Log and mitigation registers workshop planning and facilitation
- Liaison with design and construction teams for collation and management of evidence and preparation of compliance statements
- Preparation of Safety Assurance statements and reports
- An understanding of model-based systems engineering is desirable

Rail or Transport sector knowledge, including tramways, light rail, rapid transit, mixed-traffic metropolitan passenger and freightTechnical expertise across a broad range of projects and across the full systems engineering or project lifecycleUnderstanding of relevant international and local standards and rail sector standards and proceduresQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering) or equivalent (Post graduate Systems Engineering qualifications are well regarded)6+ years of experience in rail systems.3+ years of experience in systems engineering and safety assurance processes.Industry chartership and membership of a relevant professional body will be highly regarded.
