QA Engineer

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Lead with over 6 years of expertise in quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Cypress, Cucumber, and Karate (API testing), along with proven experience leading testing initiatives and ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle. As a QA Lead, you will play a key role in building robust test frameworks, integrating automated testing into CI / CD pipelines, and driving quality best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts across projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality software products.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Cucumber.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing across web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage aligned with requirements.
• Implement and execute API and service layer testing using the Karate framework.
• Manage and maintain test cases in XRay (Jira plugin), ensuring traceability and adherence to test management best practices.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI / CD pipeline using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Continuously improve testing strategies, frameworks, and processes in line with organizational goals.
• (Optional) Support testing and deployment processes in Azure Cloud Services environments.
