Micro Plastics - Senior Manager - New Product Development

Job Role :

Lead overall programs with team who are handling multiple projects, planning and developing new products as per customer requirements. Person in this role may handle several projects simultaneously, performing tasks of managers and guide Sr Engineers and providing guidance for teams.

Key Management

1. Strong planning, organization, and project management skills; able to work on multiple projects and be flexible with changing priorities

2. Understand and apply a program management approach to business, has experience in problem solving methodologies.

3. Review program objective packages; identifies gaps and / or problems and resolves any issues proactively.

4. Facilitate and participate in placement meetings and / or preproduction meetings; monitor and lead team to finalize their responsibilities to best manage production.

5. Ensure problem identified by the team are resolved timely, escalated correctly and shared with related counterparts; guide the team to the best alternate solution and contingency plans as needed.

6. Debugging new mold tools, establishing molding process parameters. Evaluate / create design of molded components and evolve Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis.

7. Coordinate with tooling vendor to review mold testing report beforehand tooling arrival on site, select proper size molding machine and auxiliary equipment for preparation of molding pilot.

8. Calibrate molding parameters and tune up molding machinery for optimum molded part quality and Education - BE / B.Tech or equivalent engineering in Mechanical / Tool & Die making or Plastic product design and development

2. Expertise in relevant toy products with an understanding of the product play value, Form / Fit / Functions and Performance

3. Advanced technical knowledge of processes and expertise of specific product categories sourced.

4. Specialized knowledge - Minimum 10+ years in toy product development in plastic injection moulding / Die casting or Automobile components manufacturing background

5. Abilities - Excellent verbal and written communication Skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal & external customers

Working conditions :

The Company working hours is from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, Monday to Saturday. We ask you to remain flexible and be prepared to devote additional hours at the office and / or home in handling tasks assigned to you when the pace necessitates as such. You understand that your work assignments may require additional work and acknowledge that no overtime pay will be paid to you for any such additional hours.
