What's the role?
The job includes all parts of software development lifecycle : refining product vision, gathering requirements, software system design, coding, testing, release and support. As our team is spread around the globe, you will work collaboratively with other team members from different locations.
- Develop software that is well-crafted & steadily adds business value, as part of a community of professionals
- Engage with internal and external customers for requirements, change requests and incidents to help define application specifications
- Own one or more components of software architecture in immediate environment
- Apply and extended CI / CD tools and execute end-2-end ownership of your developed software stack, including DevOps and testing aspects
- Be part of an agile team, share knowledge, do code reviews, pro-active communication
- Drive and improve engineering best practices (. agile, coding, verification)
- Define complex, cross-subsystem / product designs to be implemented by team
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team
Who are you?
Bachelor’s degree (. / in Computer Science or a related fieldMaster’s degree ( in Computer Science preferred5+ years of relevant experience in building production-grade systemsProven track record of developing highly scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant distributed systems using open-source technologiesProgramming Skills : Strong proficiency in Java , Collections, DSA, Strong Fundamentals, PythonCloud Infrastructure : Proficient with cloud-based platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EC2, AWS EMR, and RedisAble to translate business and architectural features into quality, consistent software designStrong quality mindset is considered a must : unit testing, performance testing, writing testable codeSelf-motivated, well-organized, details-oriented and a strong team player with an agile mindsetGood to have : applied AWS skills (EC2, S3, RDS,), as well as experience with virtualization tools like DockerExperience on CI / CD toolsGood knowledge of using issue tracking tools (., JIRA), code collaboration tools (., Git / GitLab) and team collaboration tools (., Confluence / Wiki).
