Position Title : Senior Program Manager

Full Time Job : 8 hours a day with flexibility to be available for meetings between 7 PM to 10 PM IST, included in the 40 hour work week and some weekend hours maybe be needed for events

Location : Chennai

Mode : Hybrid (2 days a week in Nungambakkam office - other days can be remote)

Work Experience : 3-5 years experience in program management

Salary Range – Rs.45,000 - Rs.50,000 per month (Indian Rupees)

Role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for coordination, implementation and maintenance of a range of projects and activities in support of the donor, scholars and CSR. This role may run multiple projects in support of SSF strategic goals, and be responsible for ad hoc special projects as requested. This position needs a team-oriented individual who will serve as liaison across multiple internal teams and works best in highly collaborative environments

What You’ll Do

• Project Management : Coordinate the end-to-end project with internal collaborators (Leaders and Managers) within the internal systems.
• Processes and Systems : Responsible for developing PM processes, based on the programs, and creating tracker and reporting dashboard
• Data Recording and Analysis : Manage data for all projects in multiple databases and SFDC. Work with Program Manager and Program Officers to keep all pertinent information accurate and up-to-date for reporting and analysis.
• Strategy support : Work on special team projects, strategic as well as operational, as needed, usually supporting the efficiency of processes. Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations.
• Monitoring & Reporting : Track project progress, risks, and dependencies and flag delays proactively. Prepare weekly / monthly project status reports and dashboards.
• Plans and participates in cross-function and cross-program projects as appropriate, and assists the program team with the annual pipeline planning process.

Your Experience

You are adept at-risk management, structured problem solving, using process-oriented methodologies, and excel at partnering with internal and external stakeholders. You have strong interpersonal skills, an inquisitive and collaborative mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement in project execution, learning and team performance.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Management, Development Studies, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or administrative support.
• Strong preference - use of strong project management system to dashboard projects like Clickup / Monday.Com etc
• Strong preference - TEAM-oriented individual who has can in highly collaborative environment
• PMP Certification is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience and knowledge in scrum methodology strongly preferred
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace (Excel / Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated, diverse team
• Able to work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Open to rapid change and able to learn new things quickly.
• Demonstrates effectiveness influencing individuals and teams without explicit authority.
• Recognizes complexity and assesses risks and alternatives in light of competing requirements and incomplete knowledge.
• Own a laptop or system at home with internet connection - Online work / Telephone work etc
• Work 7 PM to 10 PM every day online (included in the the 40 hours per week with occasional weekend hours needed )
• 10% travel within India maybe required, and come in weekly once to local office as needed
