About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer (Founding Team) who loves building 0→1 products, thrives in chaos, and wants to work directly with the founder to architect and ship real agentic AI systems.

You’ll design and build :

Real-time voice + chat agents

Agentic reasoning and workflows

Memory + state management

Deep API integrations (CRM, scheduling, support tools)

Scalable backend + infra for AI systems

This is a high-ownership, high-autonomy, zero-bureaucracy role.

What You’ll Own

Architect the agentic workflow engine (reasoning, memory, tool use)

Build real-time voice + chat agents using STT / TTS + LLMs

Create deep integrations with CRMs, schedulers, helpdesks, databases

Design scalable backend + infra for multi-channel agents

Prototype fast, ship fast, and iterate with real customer feedback

Work directly with the founder on product + architecture

Lay the engineering foundation for the next 6–12 months of growth

What You Bring

4–7+ years of engineering experience

Strong backend fundamentals (Python preferred)

Deep understanding of full-stack system design — backend services, SQL data modeling, and production-grade Python engineering

Expert-level understanding of APIs — requests, auth flows, webhook systems, rate limits, and complex third-party integrations

Hands-on with LLM APIs, LangChain / LangGraph, agent orchestration

Strong grasp of Generative AI fundamentals — RAG, embeddings, retrieval design, structured outputs, and tool-using agents

Experience deploying and maintaining production systems — Docker, servers, environment management, and dev / stage / prod setups

Architectural intuition around scalable systems — queues / workers, caching, load balancing, service boundaries, and latency-aware design

Experience with chat / voice systems or workflow automation

Comfortable using AI-augmented developer tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to accelerate prototyping and development

Comfortable integrating complex APIs

Thrive in zero-to-one environments, ambiguity, and high ownership
