SQUID App (Njuice AB) is a media-tech company with head office in Stockholm, Sweden. SQUID is a fast-growing news media company targeting millennials in Europe, Latin America and APAC, launched in over 60 countries.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Intern to join our dynamic team for 20h per week, as soon as possible. The intern assists in managing content and publisher partnerships for our operations in India. As a Working Student, you will play a crucial role in supporting our content strategy, building relationships with publishers, and contributing to the growth of our organization's digital presence. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual with a keen interest in content management and partnership development to gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities :

Content Acquisition : Identify and acquire high-quality content from diverse sources, including publishers, news agencies, and independent journalists.

Content Relevance : Organize content to ensure relevance, accuracy, and diversity across different categories and topics.

Agreements and Partnerships : Communicate, negotiate and manage content matters with publishers and content providers

Quality Control : Implement quality control measures to uphold editorial standards, including fact-checking, plagiarism detection, and adherence to ethical guidelines.

User Engagement : Proactively engage Squid audiences by sending push notifications at various intervals throughout the day, including providing push suggestions to the company's partners upon request.

Answering reviews : The intern is responsible for keeping track and replying to users' reviews in app stores.

Project "Sprint" : The Intern will work with various "sprints" assigned by HQ. Within the timeframes set by the Regional Manager, the intern will take on the tasks for each sprint and make sure they get done on time. A sprint can for example be a PR launch of a new service, adding a new type of content etc.

Attending Meetings : The Intern should attend the mandatory meetings, normally the regional and the global meetings as well as ad hoc individual meetings.

Stakeholder Communication : Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to communicate content-related updates, initiatives, and organizational matters.
