Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for a Senior Accounts and Compliance Manager. The role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in financial reporting. The Senior Accounts and Compliance Manager will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure compliance with relevant financial standards, and provide insights to support financial decision-making. Collaboration with internal teams and timely communication to stakeholders are crucial aspects of this role.

Secondary Responsibilities (25% time)
Family Office Investment Accounting
Assist in maintenance of investment records for the promoter’s family office, including Tracking of investment transactions and updating investment registersRecording income, accruals, redemptions, and mark-to-market adjustmentsPrepare periodic investment summaries, cash movement updates, and basic performance tracking.Coordinate for gathering statements, contract notes, capital account statements, and other documents from investment managers or custodians.NGO / Not-for-Profit Accounting Support
Assist in accounting, book updating, receipt / payment recording, and ledger scrutiny for the NGO entity.Ensure compliance with the NGO’s governance framework, grant accounting norms, and annual financial reporting requirements.Support preparation of utilisation statements, board reports, and donor reporting as required.Qualifications & Experience
Chartered Accountant / Chartered Accountant (party completed) preferred with 5-10 years of relevant experience.Strong knowledge of accounting standards, MIS reporting, budgeting, and financial controls.Proficiency in Finance and Analytical Skills to assess and interpret financial dataPrior experience working with outsourced accounting or shared service partners is an advantage.Effective Communication skills to collaborate with teams and articulate financial insights clearlyAttention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy in financial tasksProficiency in accounting software, ERP systems and advanced Excel.Reporting To
