Diesel Engine Design Support Engineer

ROLES & RESPONSISBILITIES :

• The candidate should have foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and hands-on experience with CAD software.
• This role will support senior engineers in creating, modifying, and managing design data for our next-generation diesel engines.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings of diesel engine components and systems using CREO. Develop and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and component lists.
• Manage and control engineering data, including part files and drawings, within the Windchill PLM system.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure design specifications meet performance, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
• Perform basic design calculations and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Assist in preparing design reviews and technical reports.
• The Candidate should have following skill set : 1. CAD Modeling, 2. Data Management, 3. Design Support, 4. Manufacturing Support
• Candidate should have experience in Base engine design and development of diesel engine
• Candidate should experience in 3D modelling in Creo. Expertise in Auto cad would be an added advantage.
• Candidate should have basic understanding of engine components and its functionality.
• Experience of windchill / plm would be an added advantage

Experience : 2 to 5 Years

Education : Diploma / BE Mechanical / Automobile
