Role Summary
The 3D Team Lead will be responsible for managing the entire 3D production workflow—from resource allocation and task planning to quality control, delivery timelines, and effective coordination with clients and internal teams.
This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, technical expertise in 3D visualization, and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage the 3D design / visualization team (modelers, texture artists, lighting artists, animators).
- Allocate tasks effectively and ensure optimal utilization of team resources.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and upskill team members as needed.
Project Coordination & Delivery Management
Oversee all 3D visualization projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery as per SLAs.Work with the Sales, Operations, and Project Coordination teams to understand project scopes, client expectations, and deliverables.Plan timelines, manage workloads, and track progress to ensure smooth execution of multiple projects.Act as the main escalation point for project delays, technical issues, or quality concerns.Quality Control & Technical Oversight
Review all 3D outputs (models, renders, walkthroughs, animations) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high visual standards.Set and enforce quality benchmarks for the team.Troubleshoot technical challenges related to modeling, rendering, lighting, texturing, or pipeline.Client & Internal Communication
Coordinate with project managers and client-facing teams to clarify requirements, feedback, and revisions.Translate client feedback into actionable tasks for the team.Ensure that deliverables align with developer expectations and archVi’s quality standards.Process Improvement & Workflow Optimization
Establish streamlined workflows and production pipelines to improve team efficiency.Implement best practices, templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for 3D production.Research and introduce new tools, plugins, or techniques to enhance productivity and output quality.SLA Management
Ensure all projects are delivered within agreed Service Level Agreements.Track delivery performance and identify areas for improvement.Develop reporting mechanisms to monitor turnaround time, productivity, and quality metrics.Required Qualifications
5–8+ years of experience in 3D visualization, preferably in real estate, architecture, interior visualization, or PropTech.Strong expertise in industry-standard tools :3ds Max, V-Ray / CoronaBlender (optional)Unreal Engine / Unity (plus)Photoshop, Substance Painter, or relevant texturing toolsProven experience leading 3D teams or managing multiple 3D projects.Strong understanding of lighting, rendering, modeling, and post-production workflows.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and prioritize efficiently.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with real estate developers or architectural firms.Knowledge of 3D pipeline optimization, automation tools, and render management systems.Familiarity with project management tools like Trello, Asana, Jira, or Monday.Com.Experience handling client feedback and revisions professionally.
