The Export Manager – Yarn will manage end-to-end export operations, drive global sales growth, and strengthen Avneetha Silks’ presence across key markets such as Bangladesh, Vietnam, China, Turkey, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. This role demands strong technical knowledge of yarn, exceptional buyer management skills, and hands-on expertise in international trade documentation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Sales & Business Expansion
- Identify, engage, and convert new international customers in key yarn-importing countries.
- Achieve quarterly and annual export revenue targets for the yarn division.
- Create region-wise growth plans aligned with Avneetha Silks’ global expansion strategy.
2. Buyer Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with overseas buyers, agents, and distributors.Handle price negotiations, product discussions, sampling approvals, and shipment planning.Provide quick turnaround on customer feedback, complaints, and quality concerns.3. Export Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with production, QC, logistics, and finance to ensure timely delivery.Manage all export documentation including Proforma Invoice, LC documents, Packing List, Bill of Lading, COO, GSP, RoDTEP / RoSCTL claims, etc.Ensure yarn quality meets buyer specifications (count, twist, contamination, strength, colour).4. Pricing, Costing & Market Intelligence
Monitor global yarn price trends (NY futures, Cotlook Index, China market).Analyse competitor price patterns and maintain accurate pricing sheets.Recommend profitable product mix, counts, and market-specific strategies.5. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with Incoterms, LC terms, export regulations, and audit requirements.Follow up for payments, document approval, and financial risk mitigation.Ensure adherence to Avneetha Silks’ export SOPs and quality systems.6. Cross-Functional & International Coordination
Work closely with international agents, trade partners, and overseas offices.Represent Avneetha Silks in global textile fairs such as ITMA, Yarn Expo, IndiaTex, and Heimtextil.Share monthly MIS reports with management on sales, markets, and competition.Required Skills & Experience
4–10 years of experience in yarn exports (cotton, PC, PV, mélange, compact, colored, dyed yarns).Strong command over export documentation, Incoterms, LC Handling, freight planning, and logistics.Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage international buyers.Knowledge of ERP, Excel, costing sheets, and market intelligence tools.Ability to handle multiple buyers, urgent shipments, and real-time decision-making.Education
