Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Companies Act requirements.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger , loan accounts , interest income , borrowings , and investment schedules .
- Support preparation of Notes to Accounts , disclosures, and schedules in line with Ind AS Division III (NBFC format).
- Ensure accurate EIR (Effective Interest Rate) calculations for loans & borrowings as per Ind AS 109.
- Assist in fair valuation of investments, financial assets, and financial liabilities.
2. Regulatory & Compliance (NBFC Specific)
Support preparation of RBI returns , including NBS forms, statutory statements, and compliance reporting.Maintain proper documentation for compliance as per Scale-Based Regulation (SBR) guidelines.Ensure compliance with prudential norms , provisioning requirements, and asset classification (Standard / NPA).3. Audit Support
Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors , providing required data and clarifications.Assist in audit documentation , ledger scrutiny, and ensuring closure of audit observations.5. MIS & Internal Controls
Prepare MIS reports , financial summaries, and variance analysis for management review.Ensure strong internal controls over loan accounting, disbursements, collections , and expense management .Required Skills & Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – 0 to 2 years experience (freshers eligible).Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) , especially :Ind AS 109 – Financial InstrumentsInd AS 107 – DisclosuresInd AS 32 – Financial Instruments : PresentationInd AS 116 – LeasesInd AS 1 / 7 / 12 (General standards)Good understanding of NBFC accounting , loan lifecycle, and interest recognition.Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (Tally / ERP / Fintech platforms).Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.Preferred Attributes
Experience (even internship) in NBFC / Banking / Audit of financial institutions.Understanding of RBI guidelines, SBR framework, and NBFC regulatory norms.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
