Job descriptionPerform data analysis using SQL to support business decisions and validate data warehouse outputs. Understand and document data flows between systems such as our payroll HR CRM and other platforms. Identify data quality issues and work with technical teams to resolve them. Collaborate with the technical writer to create and maintain comprehensive documentation including : BRDs functional specs process flows and user guides. Facilitate meetings workshops and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives). Support UAT planning execution and defect tracking. Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system functionality. Recommend enhancements based on data insights and stakeholder feedback. Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Computer Science or related field. 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment. Strong SQL skills and experience working with SQL Server databases. Familiarity with payroll systems or similar HRIS / ERP platforms. Experience writing JIRA stories and managing Agile workflows. Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills. Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Knowledge of reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau). Understanding of payroll HR or financial business processes. Experience with Confluence or similar documentation tools. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Be part of a collaborative and innovative work environment. Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to support our enterprise data warehouse (SQL Server) payroll CRM HR and other enterprise applications. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions ensuring data integrity process efficiency and successful delivery of technology initiatives.
