Qualification & Skills

Diploma / B.Tech / B. E in Civil Engineering.

10–15 years experience in road construction.

Strong knowledge of materials, quality standards, and project monitoring.

Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle multiple sites and work under pressure.

Job Role Summary

Responsible for daily monitoring of all road construction sites, ensuring smooth operations, timely progress, material management, issue resolution, and coordination with the management team.

Key Responsibilities

Take daily updates from all site engineers on work progress, manpower, machinery, and material status.

Check material stock, consumption, and requirements for each site and ensure timely supply.

Monitor daily progress vs target and analyze reasons for delays; prepare corrective action plans.

Handle and resolve all site-related issues : material, machinery, labor, hindrance, drawings, approvals.

Prepare and submit daily progress reports, consumption reports, and requirement sheets.

Maintain strong coordination with Procurement, Accounts, HR, Transport, Machinery departments.

Give daily reminders to Directors regarding pending decisions, approvals, materials, payments, etc.

Ensure quality and safety compliance at all project sites.

Track project timelines and ensure work is completed before project duration.

Maintain contractor coordination, verify work quantities, and support billing verification.

Monitor machinery utilization, fuel consumption, and site productivity.

Provide leadership to site teams and ensure proper communication and accountability.
