Job Description :
We're looking for a smart, organized, and hands-on IT Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Operations team. You will work closely with the support lead, engineering, and customer teams to coordinate installations, monitor rollouts, and ensure timely delivery of updates, patches, and drills. This is a hybrid role that blends technical coordination, project tracking, and client interfacing, ideal for someone looking to grow in the IT delivery or DevOps project management space.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and track software and infrastructure deployments across customer sites.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and L2 support teams to schedule patch rollouts and DR drills.
- Maintain a deployment calendar and issue logs across customers.
- Monitor progress and proactively identify blockers and risks.
- Own customer communication during installation, testing, and support rollout phases.
- Serve as the single point of contact for internal teams and external client IT teams during rollouts.
- Document and communicate progress, deployment status, and incident reports to all stakeholders.
- Ensure post-deployment sign-offs, patch documentation, and RCA records are maintained.
- Validate checklists for hardware estimation and pre-installation readiness.
- Coordinate testing for security patches and monitoring configurations.
- Support the on-call support team with incident response planning and SLA tracking.
Requirements :
2-5 years of experience in IT project coordination, infrastructure delivery, or technical program management.Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.Basic understanding of server infrastructure (Linux, databases, cloud platforms)Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Gantt charts, and deployment logs.Prior experience working with on-prem or hybrid infra teams is a bonus.PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certifications are a plus but not mandatory.ref : hirist.tech)
