Assistant Professor (Lecturer) In Computer Science

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science / Data Science. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to teaching, research, and institutional service within the Department of Applied Science and Humanities at MIT School of Engineering and Sciences. Teaching and Curriculum Development : Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Data Science. Specific teaching areas include, but are not limited to : Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics, Data Handling and Visualization, and Database Management Systems (DBMS). Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and teaching methodologies to align with current industry standards and academic requirements. Research and Scholarship : Tech and B.Tech student projects, dissertations, and research activities. Actively seek external funding for research and development projects. Participate in departmental and institutional committees, academic advising, and administrative duties. Education : degree in Computer Science / Data Science. A Master’s degree (M.Tech) in Computer Science / Data Science, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university. SET / NET is preferable. Experience : ~ Minimum of three (3) years of full-time teaching experience at the university / college level, at the Assistant Professor level, Computer Science / Data Science subjects. Deep and comprehensive knowledge of the theoretical and practical foundations of Computer Science / Data Science. Demonstrated excellence in teaching with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse student body. Experience with online teaching methodologies. Pay range and compensation package Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
