Job description

Description :

  • Parse and normalize brokerage and market data (CSV, JSON, API).
  • Design Node.js pipelines for data transformation and storage.
  • Build automation for daily data ingestion and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate directly with the founder on backend design and optimization.
  • Use LLM tools for coding, refactoring, and documentation to accelerate delivery.

Required Skills :

  • Strong proficiency in Node.js / JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with data parsing, ETL, and reconciliation.
  • Comfort using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) as part of development workflow.
  • Understanding of options trading basics (strike, expiry, delta, etc.).
  • Clean, consistent coding and debugging habits.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Python for data workflows.
  • Experience with financial or market data APIs.
  • Active trading experience or portfolio interest.
  • Cloud experience (GCP / AWS).

    • Engagement Details :

  • Type : Part-time (1520 hrs / week)
  • Schedule : Must overlap with U.S. West Coast hours
  • Start Date : Immediate
  • Duration : Long-term with potential for full-time
