Role Overview

As a Sales Associate , you will work closely with the Associate Director, Mumbai Gallery to ensure smooth execution of all sales-related processes. From closing deals to managing invoices and nurturing long-term client relationships, this role is key to both the operational efficiency and future growth of the gallery’s sales function.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Support & Deal Closure
• Assist in progressing and closing art sales by coordinating with clients, artists, and internal teams.
• Ensure timely follow-ups on pending deals and maintain updated sales trackers.
• Invoicing & Documentation
• Coordinate with the finance and operations teams to ensure invoices are raised and closed on time.
• Maintain accurate sales documentation and ensure compliance with gallery policies.
• Client Relationship Management
• Support the development and nurturing of collector relationships post-sale.
• Maintain a database of client preferences, purchase history, and engagement for future outreach.
• Exhibition & Event Support
• Assist during exhibition previews and gallery events by hosting clients and supporting sales conversations.
• Prepare necessary sales materials, such as price lists and artist dossiers.
• Internal Coordination
• Work cross-functionally with the curatorial, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless sales process.
• Escalate issues or delays promptly to the Associate Director, Mumbai Gallery.
