Job description

Position : Channel Sales Manager.

Experience : 5+ yrs.. Location : Mohali, Punjab.

  • The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth through channel partnerships and ensuring effective collaboration between the company and its network of partners. This role requires a proactive, dynamic, and relationship-oriented professional with proven experience in ERP software sales.
  • The individual will focus on identifying, developing, and managing premium channel partners to expand market reach, enhance brand visibility, and achieve revenue targets in the assigned region.
  • The Channel Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in building strong relationships with key partners, providing them with strategic support, and ensuring their alignment with the company's sales objectives.
  • The role demands a deep understanding of the ERP software ecosystem, competitor landscape, and customer needs to position the company effectively in the market.
  • The person in this position will regularly identify and onboard high-potential partners in collaboration with the Zonal Sales Manager and Sales Head. They will conduct regular physical visits to partner locations to strengthen engagement, assess performance, and address any business challenges.
  • The manager will also be responsible for ensuring that the company's branding is consistently and prominently displayed across partner premises, websites, and other digital or physical assets, maintaining alignment with brand guidelines.
  • A key responsibility of this role is to generate qualified leads through channel partners and manage leads allocated by the Head Office. The Channel Sales Manager will track progress, provide continuous performance updates, and ensure that partners actively contribute to local market penetration.
  • They will set and achieve monthly and quarterly targets, providing regular performance reviews and strategic feedback to their reporting manager.
  • The ideal candidate will closely monitor competitor activities within the region, assess market dynamics, and identify new opportunities for growth. They will possess thorough product knowledge and be capable of effectively communicating the company's value propositions, features, and differentiators to partners and their sales teams.
  • Regular training sessions and product update meetings will be conducted to ensure that partners remain informed and confident in positioning the company's offerings to customers.
  • To succeed in this role, the Channel Sales Manager must demonstrate strong relationship management, negotiation, and analytical skills. The position requires an individual who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to strengthen the partner ecosystem and drive sustained business growth.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • The candidate should have at least five years of experience in ERP software channel sales or a closely related domain role requires excellent communication and presentation abilities, a solid understanding of channel partner management, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, market awareness, and the ability to travel extensively within the assigned region are essential.
