Implementation - PMO Lead - Vice President

Who we are looking for

In this role as Vice President - Alpha Operations Client Pathways, you will work with State Street teams from around the globe to lead multiple teams supporting the transformation of some of State Streets key middle office clients. You will have leadership and strategy responsibility to oversee and deliver all day-to-day responsibilities of your teams in a fast-paced, flexible and exciting environment. The role will need to initiate and develop good communication and interpersonal relationships with operations, technology and client relationship teams and IT to ensure any change initiatives maintain the high level of service that is currently being provided to these clients. While this role is advertised to be in Bangalore we are open to considering candidates who are also based in Mumbai or Coimbatore.

This is a transformation and managerial position with significant change the bank responsibility within Middle Office Services. In addition to operational and team responsibilities, this role is client facing with senior client leadership, and acts as a primary escalation point for all in scope clients transformation agenda. The candidate should be a hands-on leader who is required to ensure the teams under their responsibility undertake appropriate learning, analysis, documentation and implementation to both internal and external clients, ensure timely response to client-initiated queries, and escalation of any potential risks or issues which will impact our change delivery.

What you will be responsible for

Role Definition :

• Responsible for the leading a project management office, providing governance, support, and oversight for multiple project managers and workstreams within a large client facing strategic initiative with Alpha Operations globally from India.
• Implements and maintains project management standards, methodologies, processes, and tools across the organisation.
• Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project and portfolio performance.
• Evaluate programme workstreams to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhere to budgets, and meet deadlines.
• Collaborates with Operations, Transformation and Technology teams to ensure the core pillars of the program are understood and fully adopted.
• Assess performance of the program against benefit and outcome targets (Financial & non-financial), manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements.
• Partner with client, operations and corporate governance leadership to ensure governance around execution on any changes globally.
